CSO Candidates attend Cape Fear Training

Certified Sustainability trainingNancy Keith (lower right) poses with the latest group of Certified Sustainability Officer candidates who attended the CSO training at Cape Fear Community College in Wilmington, NC. This class was the first such program at Cape Fear, and reports are that the program was well-received.

Pictured above is David Smith of Pender County Schools;  Richard Dutka, Director of Auxiliary Services;  Michelle Parkin, Construction Supervisor, IAQ Coordinator, PPD, Inc;  David Kimble, Associate Director Environmental Health & Safety, National Park Service:  Facility Manager Jerome Fennell, New Hanover County.

Nancy Keith hopes to offer this training again with Cape Fear Community College.  This training is also being offered at other schools and community colleges.  For those that may not know, the need for an in-house environmental liaison is a growing need as the challenges of transitioning to a Green operation continues to rise.  To meet this challenge, the CSO program is now offered to individuals across the United States and in other countries.

To train a CSO for your company or learn a valuable skill for a Green career, the Certified Sustainability Officer training is worth considering.
