Green Janitorial CertificationThe Green Clean Institute is presently the largest Green certification organization for janitorial firms.  More than 1500 people and firms have gone through the GCI certification program.  This program, like the Green Business League, is an earned certification process requiring a study program and exams by the staff of the firm in order to obtain this prestigious certification.

The Hope Network has been a Green Clean Institute Certified firm for nearly two years and has now earned the Gold level certification due to its outstanding service.  The Hope Network works with hard to employ individuals offering training and work experience while provide top-level service to each and every customer served.  David Bouck heads up this project and has made this operation one of the Greenest janitorial services in the country.

In the Dayton, Ohio area; Alpha And Omega Janitorial Services has made the sizable effort to move its operation to the Gold level as a Green Clean Institute certified firm.  Jim Baker, president of A&O, and Rich Klinedinst have provided the necessary training and begun the transition of products and equipment to the standards required for Gold certification.

In Florence, SC, Clean World USA, has made a decision to create an outstanding Green janitorial service.  Paul Gormanson has started the process of taking his company to a leading janitorial service offering a seriously Green program.

In Port of Spain, Trinidad, Magic Mist Janitorial has become the very first company to make the commitment to Go Green as a company.  Magic Mist Services is the largest cleaning service in the island, and has taken the lead in the Green cleaning effort.

The Gold level program allows all members of the cleaning service to receive the training, and requires a review of the cleaning products and tools being used.  This is a general audit of the company that measures Green transition from year to year. 

The Green Clean Institute has a wide range of members throughout the United States and many other companies.  Businesses are encouraged to select a Green certified janitorial service in the area from the Directory of Green Janitorial providers.   Also, include our Green Practices Clause in your next RFP or contract requirements.
